USA – Nespresso USA has unveiled its first line of honey products, branded ‘Nespresso Bloom,’ created from the same coffee plants used for its coffee.

This launch marks a new chapter in Nespresso’s commitment to sustainability and regenerative agriculture practices.

The Nespresso Bloom range includes two initial offerings: Coffee Blossom Honey and Coffee Blossom Honey Syrup.

The Coffee Blossom Honey is a raw honey characterized by its delicate floral flavor, complemented by smooth caramel and vanilla notes. It is designed to enhance the flavor of Nespresso coffee or to be drizzled over foods such as affogato, yogurt, and whipped ricotta.

The Coffee Blossom Honey Syrup combines the Coffee Blossom Honey with Nespresso coffee, producing a syrup that adds a refined coffee flavor with velvety caramel and vanilla undertones. This syrup is intended to elevate a variety of recipes, including macchiatos, espresso martinis, and waffles.

Alfonso Gonzalez Loeschen, CEO of Nespresso North America, said, “Supporting responsible practices in coffee farming has always been part of Nespresso’s DNA. This pilot is a testament to how sustainability drives our innovation strategy. Nespresso Bloom represents our commitment to protecting the future of coffee while delivering a unique and superior coffee experience.”

The new products will be available for purchase on Nespresso.com starting August 21.

This launch comes as Nespresso celebrates 20 years of its AAA Program, a coffee sourcing initiative developed in partnership with the Rainforest Alliance.

The AAA Program aims to ensure a sustainable supply of high-quality coffee, improve the livelihoods of farmers, and protect the environment. It focuses on building strong relationships with coffee farmers, safeguarding ecosystems, and enhancing community resilience.
