CHILE – Nestlé is  introducing Maggi Rindecarne, a plant-based meat alternative designed to support balanced diets.

This new product combines soy and spices, offering consumers a way to extend minced meat dishes without sacrificing taste or nutritional value.

By mixing Maggi Rindecarne with minced meat, families can double their servings affordably, maintaining the dish’s flavor and nutritional benefits.

Maggi Rindecarne’s versatility allows it to be used in various minced meat recipes, making it a practical addition to any kitchen.

This first-of-its-kind meat extender is now available in Chile, reflecting Nestlé’s commitment to providing accessible and nutritious options.

“Our experts and chefs have crafted a solution that offers the same amount of protein in an affordable way, tailored to the needs of Latin American consumers,” said Swen Rabe, head of Nestlé’s Product and Technology Center for Food.

“This innovation maintains the familiar taste and texture of minced meat, is shelf-stable, and easy to use.”

This latest product exemplifies Nestlé’s strategy of integrating animal and plant-based ingredients to enhance nutrition, affordability, and sustainability.

Maggi Rindecarne follows the successful pilot launch of a shelf-stable, plant-based protein blend in 2022, designed to complement egg dishes in Latin America.

Additionally, Nestlé has developed a nutritious beverage for Central and West Africa, combining milk with locally sourced soy to meet regional dietary needs affordably.

Nestlé’s commitment to expanding its range of plant-based foods includes recent additions like Maggi Soya Chunks and Maggi Veg.
