SINGAPORE – Nestle Professional, the business-to-business (B2B) arm of Nestlé, has officially launched its Customer Engagement Centre (CEC) in Singapore, aiming to revolutionize its interactions with food-service operators.

This newly inaugurated center stands as a hub for industry knowledge, food service expertise, and an extensive portfolio of food and beverage (F&B) and hospitality solutions.

Led by Nestle Professional’s in-house chef and barista, the CEC initiative is a collaborative effort with association partners, addressing key industry challenges and adapting to the evolving needs of clients.

These challenges include a commitment to sustainable practices, solutions for workforce challenges, and the implementation of innovative, on-trend concepts to enhance overall operational efficiencies.

Paul Nagelkerken, the country business manager for Nestle Professional, highlighted the strategic importance of the initiative, stating, “By creating a space that fosters collaboration and innovation, Nestlé Professional is poised to play a pivotal role in aiding the F&B industry in Singapore.

This strategic initiative aligns with the company’s commitment to exceed the expectations of our customers, providing them with the concepts, tools, and expertise needed to thrive in a dynamic and competitive market.

The CEC has been designed to emulate a cafe environment, offering partners and affiliates the opportunity to schedule appointments for tastings and demonstrations.

According to Nestle, this setup aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of Nestlé Professional’s diverse F&B offerings.

The CEC facilitates product and machine demonstrations, offering product training, customized applications, creative menu development, and recipe ideas tailored to specific business needs.

The Nestle Professional team actively engages with customers, utilizing the CEC as a platform to offer consolidated food and beverage solutions in a single location.

The CEC is divided into professional kitchen and bar areas, ensuring facilities for both food and beverage needs. The bar area offers access to a comprehensive range of beverage machines, making it a complete hot and cold beverage solutions provider for various F&B establishments.

The offerings include soluble tin and spoon preparation, fully automated and semi-automated coffee machines, compact tabletop coffee roasters, and cold machines.

The kitchen is equipped with professional-grade equipment that simulates the operational environment of customers, ensuring a realistic and immersive experience.
