USA – Nestle owned Garden of Life brand, which produced range of vitamins and supplements, is expanding into the ready-to-drink segment with the launch of two protein beverages.

The brand is introducing Garden of Life Organic Protein Plant-Based Drinks – made with plant-based protein and Garden of Life Sport Protein Drinks- made with grass-fed dairy protein.

The plant-based drink will be available in chocolate and vanilla flavors providing 21 grams of protein, 5 grams of MCTs, 190 calories, 0 grams of sugar and 1 gram of net carbs per 11-oz bottle.

Also available in a 11-oz bottle, the Garden of Life Sport Protein Drinks are packed with 26 grams of protein from milk protein isolate and are sugar free.

The chocolate flavour has 140 calories and 2 grams of net carbs, while the vanilla variety has 120 calories and 1 gram of net carbs. Both beverages are free from soy and gluten.

Garden of Life manufactures and markets nutritional products through more than 350 branded supplements including high-protein powders, raw meals, raw proteins, organic plant proteins, digestive health products, beauty products and raw food vitamins formulas.

New partnership with Hofseth BioCare

Based in Florida, the company has also signed a letter of intent with Hofseth BioCare to distribute Hofseth’s products in the US market.

The firms envisage entering into a long-term agreement with the intention of developing a close collaboration on cultivating and developing the world market for HBC’s products; Salmon Collagen Peptides, CollaGo, and Salmon Protein Hydrolysate, and ProGo.

Hofseth will appoint Garden of Life as its exclusive partner in the US market for the purposes of implementing the products as ingredients in Garden’s product range.

Upon approval of a successful testing, the company will be granted an exclusive and non-transferable license in the US market for the products as ingredients in GOL products.

The companies aim to finalize the testing in 2019 and launch the Products in the US market early in 2020.
