KENYAThe organisers of the AFMASS Eastern & Central Africa Conference and Expo are excited to announce a new venue for the next edition of the premier industry event.

The Visa Oshwal Centre in the Westlands suburbs of Nairobi, Kenya, will be the venue for the 2017 edition of the leading industry event.

“We have always dreamt of a bigger and better AFMASS Eastern & Central Africa. And we shall always strive to make this event the premier technical and business conference and expo in the region,” says Francis Juma, the main convener of the event.

“We have over the last two years convened the event at Strathmore University and the Kenya School of Monetary Studies, two very good venues that have served us very well.

But our goal of ultimately hosting this event in a more business-friendly venue has been with us all though,” he revealed.

“Having talked to many stakeholders, many advised us to check the availability of Visa Oshwal Centre because of its ease of access and location in the Westlands area. We are glad that the management of the Centre have accepted our request,” he added.

“With the addition of the AFGRAINS stream of conference, focused on the vitally important grains, milling, baking and feed industry, on top of the AFMASS conference, the event has also grown to serve the industry through the entire value chain, from farm to fork.

We expect and have received a good number of confirmed sponsors and exhibitors that show us that the event has grown and deserves a bigger venue,” he concluded.

The dates for the event have also changed as a result of the change of venue, with the event dates now set for April 25-27, 2017. The other fine details about the event however remain the same.
