NIGERIA – Nigeria’s Nosak Group, the parent company of Nosak Distilleries Limited (NDL), has appointed Osaro Omogiade the new managing director to oversee companies operations.

Dr. Toni Ogunbor, the Chairman, Nosak Group has expressed his confidence in the appointment of Omogiade which he owed to the excellent performance in his previously held positions, reports The Guardian.

He said that Omogiade journey through the ranks to his new position puts no doubt of his immense contribution to the growth of the company and hence was confident he will deliver.

Osaro Omogiade is an experienced Manager in Process Engineering and an alumnus of Business School Netherlands, Nigeria (BSNN) and the Lagos Business School.

He holds a first degree on Industrial Chemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Master’s in Process Engineering from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Omogiade is also a member of the Nigeria Institute of Production and Operation Management, and has held different positions in major manufacturing companies.

These includes positions across the production, research/development, project and management operations.

Prior to joining Nosak Distilleries limited as in 2001 as a production officer, he worked at Henley & Drury Industries as Quality Control Officer.

While working at NDL, Omogiade gradually rose through different positions rank and in 2010, he was made the Project and Business Development Manager, Ghana.

Between 2011 and 2018, he served in the capacity of Assistant General Manager, and later General Manager where he led the company through remarkable growth in the face of economic challenges.

Additionally, in his former role as general manager of NDL, he directed the affairs of the company’s growth strategies and action-implementation.

Omogiade, in his new role as the managing director will continue to oversee the strategic growth of the company, focus on continual improvement of production, services and customer service excellence.

Nosak Distilleries Limited was incorporated in Nigeria in 2001 and is a major ethanol producer and distributor in the country.

Its parent company, Nosak Group is a Nigerian industrial conglomerate with diversified interests in retail, manufacturing, logistics, finance, agriculture, real estate, international trade, petroleum and health care.
