SINGAPORE – World’s leading agri-business company, Olam International has partnered Google-funded firm Canvass Analytics to utilize artificial intelligence for sustainable food and agricultural production.

According to the company, the strategy seeks to find innovative and new ways of meeting the world’s rapidly growing demand for food, feed, fibre and fuel.

Olam will utilize its strength in agribusiness, with a foothold in more than 66 countries and 22,000 customers.

Canvass Analytics on the other hand will provide an automated AI-powered analytics platform that helps customers improve quality, lower production costs and reduce their energy consumption.

Olam launched a digital tool, AtSource, a data platform that enable manufacturers to trace the journey of their agricultural raw materials and food ingredients from farm to table.

AtSource presents data through a digital dashboard which tracks the social and environmental footprint of a product.
