Overnight oat brand Brave acquired by Creatd Ventures

NEW YORK — Creatd Inc., the parent company of creator-first holding company Creatd Ventures, has acquired 100% ownership of overnight oat brand Brave for an undisclosed sum.

Brave overnight breakfast pouches set themselves apart from your typical sugar -laden instant oatmeal packs in that they are packed with organic whole foods, like hemp seeds, rolled oats, chia seeds, nuts, and are sweetened with dates, dried fruits, and monk fruit.

Thomas Punch, chief executive officer at Creatd Ventures said that Brave’s health-oriented superfood breakfast mixes which come in Peanut Butter Banana, Apple Spice, Mocha Chip and Toasted Coconut Mango flavors, are a natural fit within Creatd’s portfolio.

He added that the wellness-rooted brand has multiple opportunities to develop new and innovative SKUs (stock-keeping units) and expand Creatd’s product offerings for new and existing subscribers.

Brave joins Creatd Ventures’ portfolio focused on building, developing and scaling e-commerce brands as the fourth majority ownership acquisition by the holding company.

The portfolio includes Dune, a maker of functional beverages that promote health and beauty benefits; Basis, a hydration mix brand; and Camp, a gluten-free, organic pasta brand.

Creatd Ventures full suite of consumer product goods (CPG) brands, are now available on Amazon and Creatd’s Founder and Executive Chairman, Jeremy Frommer said the company has already experienced record sales days on Amazon Prime for both Basis and Camp, without corresponding increases in marketing spend.

He added that the company’s return-on-ad-spend regularly surpasses two times our cost and is expected to significantly further increase as it refines its data and analytics.

“We continue to make headway in the brick-and-mortar space, which I believe is important for a well-balanced CPG portfolio. Recent winds have included the expansion of our product lines at both Urban Outfitters and Erewhon Markets. Our acquisitions group is currently looking at a half-a-dozen potential acquisitions, I would expect our portfolio to double within the next few quarters,” he said.
