PAKISTAN – MCR Pvt. Ltd., operator of Pizza Hut franchises across Pakistan has selected delivery software provider GetSwift to support its last mile delivery network across the country.

Pizza Hut was the first international restaurant franchise to enter Pakistan when it arrived in 1993.

Pizza Hut has continued to expand across the country, making it arguably the largest restaurant chain in Pakistan.

“Based on the success of GetSwift in other Yum Brands/Pizza Hut markets, GetSwift was a natural choice for us in Pakistan,” said Danyal Rashid, Executive Director of MCR.

“We conducted an extensive implementation review to evaluate GetSwift on local parameters and concluded that GetSwift is the best option for us to offer the fastest delivery to our customers in Pakistan.”

The company recently partnered Kuwait’s leading restaurant franchise operator, Kout Food Group to provide technology-driven fast food delivery in the country for fast food chains.

Kout Food operates brands such as Burger King, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut.

This comes even as the Middle East has risen to become home to food delivery platforms, driven by a conducive climate to dine at home.

Last year, GetSwift joined forces with Australian restaurant chain Red Rooster to deliver food to customers in under 30 minutes.

To boost its operations, GetSwift has acquired delivery management platform, Delivery Biz Pro whose portfolio include produce, meal kit, dairy, farm-to-table, and water sectors.

It also acquired Scheduling+, which offers a comprehensive suite of scheduling services for hourly-billed employees.
