USA – Prinova, a global leader in distributing functional ingredients and manufacturing solutions, has named Richard McEvoy new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2025.
Richard replaces Don Thorp, who will retire following a successful 42-year tenure leading the business.
Richard is a dynamic business leader with an excellent track record of driving transformational business growth across multiple leading life sciences companies.
His career includes leadership roles at Unilever, JohnsonDiversey, and Vantage Specialty Chemicals, and most recently, he served as CEO of Voyant Beauty.

In 2023, the company entered into a definitive agreement to acquire The Ingredient House, a supplier of high-quality ingredients for various industries, such as sweeteners.

Thorp emphasised that the success of Prinova’s ingredient business is rooted in strong customer relationships, market expertise, and a global presence.
He also noted that The Ingredient House will significantly enhance its offerings, particularly in the sweetener and polyol sectors.
