Provisur opens further processing sales and service facility in Netherlands

NETHERLANDS Provisur Technologies, a Chicago-headquartered provider of high-performance food processing equipment, has opened a further processing sales and service facility in Huizen, Netherlands.

Provisur said that the new, modern logistics center, located near Amsterdam, will greatly enhance the company’s ability to support its customers in the EMEA region.

According to the company, the state-of-the-art facility was designed to optimize parts storage and improve productivity while meeting the highest energy efficiency standards to support Provisur’s commitment to sustainability.

“We’re very excited about opening a new facility in the Netherlands to further enhance our ability to provide customers with the high level of service they have come to expect from Provisur,” said Brian Perkins, Executive Vice President.

“The Huizen location adds to the company’s global network of support facilities, allowing Provisur to meet the market needs specific to each region.”

The new facility will be led by Jan Bootsma, Director of Sales & Service, Further Processing EMEA. “The transition to our new building will be seamless,” said Bootsma.

“We are committed to providing our customers with the very best support and are excited to welcome them to our new facility.”

The new facility adds to the company’s global footprint which counts of factories, offices and service support centers in the USA, France, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Brazil, China, and Thailand.

In December last year, the company also opened a sales support office in Mexico City, Mexico to strengthen its presence in Latin America.

Since its establishment in 2009, Provisur has expanded its portfolio of food processing equipment to serve its global customer base with a broad range of value-added equipment and full line solutions.

In 2018, the company acquired Swiss form pressing, separation and cook & chill equipment manufacturer Hoegger AG, strengthening its position in the global slicing and portioning market.

The company specializes in five key technology areas; grinding, mixing, forming, coating, cooking, and freezing solutions, form pressing, slicing and sliced product handling solutions; protein recovery separation technologies; defrosting, marinating and cooking tumblers and chambers and in package cook & chill and sous vide.

Provisur’s food processing equipment and integrated full-line solutions are applicable in processing beef, poultry, pork, fish, among other food products.
