‘Queer Eye’ co-stars launch pet food brand

USA — New omni-channel pet lifestyle brand Yummers founded by Yummers CEO Rebecca Frischter Rodish, and Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness, co-stars of the TV series “Queer Eye” has launched with a line of premium pet food mix-ins.

With more than 90 million US pet parents seeking healthy pet food products that also make their pets happy, functional pet food is gaining significant traction due to benefits associated with improved immune system strength, bone, brain, & muscle health, reduced postprandial glucose and insulin concentrations, and prevention of diabetes‐related disorders. 

Yummers’ mix-ins offer 18 products for both dogs and cats available in gourmet and functional recipes strive to amplify a pet’s existing meal by providing variety and a boost of nutrients.

Petco Health and Wellness will serve as the brand’s exclusive retailer, carrying its products at more than 1,000 pet retail stores and online via its e-commerce platform.

Formulated with high-quality ingredients, including protein, Yummers’ pet food mix-ins are available in two lines: Gourmet and Functional. The Gourmet mix-ins are freeze-dried and feature single-ingredient proteins, available in Chicken, Beef Liver, Cheddar Cheese, Salmon and Sweet Potato, and Turkey and Cranberry flavors

Formulated with high-quality ingredients, including protein, Yummers’ pet food mix-ins are available in two lines: Gourmet and Functional. The Functional mix-ins offer extra nutrients that target specific pet health concerns, including skin and coat, digestive and heart health. The mix-ins can be combined with one another, as well as a pet’s regular meal, to offer more flavor and variety while boosting nutrition.

All of Yummers’ recipes are grain-free and meat-first and are sourced, manufactured and packaged in the United States. The brand’s packaging is made from post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials and uses sustainable printing inks to help reduce waste.
