USA – Seaboard Foods, a subsidiary of Seaboard Corporation has announced that Terry J. Holton, the President of its Pork Division, Seaboard Foods LLC, intends to retire this year.

The company said that Terry will in the meantime serve as the president until they find a suitable candidate to replace him.

Following the bid to retire, the company started a comprehensive search for a new president of the Pork Division.

“Terry has been an instrumental part of the success of our Pork Division during his 24-year career at Seaboard.

Over the past six years while serving as President, Terry oversaw the significant growth and profitability of our business.

We are most grateful for his efforts and dedication to the business and wish him only the best as he pursues the next chapter in his life,” said Steven J. Bresky, Seaboard’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

In 1994, Holton joined Seaboard as vice president of processor sales.

He later became President of the US pork processor in 2011 after the then president Rod Brenneman was named president and CEO of US turkey processor Butterball, a venture between Seaboard Corp. and US meat processor Maxwell Farms.
