Hippeas adds Sea Salt & Lime flavour to chickpea tortilla chip range

Chickpea snack brand Hippeas is adding to its chickpea tortilla chip line with the introduction of a Sea Salt & Lime flavour. 

The new variant will be added to the core range which includes Straight Up Sea Salt and Rockin’ Ranch.

The better-for-you tortillas are USDA Certified Organic, gluten-free and vegan, containing 3g grams of protein and fibre per 1oz serving.

Hippeas tortilla chips are available on the brand’s website, as well as on Amazon and in-store at retailers across the US.

Pladis launches street-food inspired Jacob’s Mini Cheddars

Pladis has expanded its Jacob’s Mini Cheddars portfolio in the UK with a duo of limited-edition flavors inspired by street-food.

The new variants are made with real cheese and include Classic Cheese Pizza and Bangin’ Cheese Burger.

They are now available in six-packs for a retail price of US$1.83 in multiple UK grocers, as well as in convenience and wholesale.

Stan’s Donuts partners with Magnolia Bakery for banana pudding donut

Using Magnolia Bakery’s famous banana pudding as inspiration, Stan’s has created a Banana Pudding Bismark, available beginning June 29 through July 12 at all Stan’s locations.

Made with Stan’s classic bismark donut, the Banana Pudding Bismark is cut in half and filled with a combination of pastry cream, mashed bananas and crushed vanilla wafers. The bismark is then topped with a brûlée sugar coating.

Stan’s Banana Pudding Bismark donut will be available at all 16 Chicagoland locations at a special price of US$4.25 per donut.

Everyone who orders the Banana Pudding Bismark at Stan’s will also be treated to 10 percent off in the Chicago location of Magnolia Bakery from June 29 through July 19.

Levain Bakery debuts rocky road cookie flavor

Levain Bakery has announced a brand-new Rocky Road cookie flavor for the summer. Starting June 21, Rocky Road will be available in all Levain bakeries and online through the end of summer.

Rocky Road features dark chocolate cookie dough mixed with rich semisweet chocolate chips, marshmallows and roasted cashews.

The flavor will also be available in a new summer cookie assortment in 4, 8 and 12 packs that also feature Oatmeal Raisin, Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip, and Chocolate Chip Walnut cookies.

Special K debuts new flavor protein snack bars

Special K, a health and wellness brand of the Kellogg Co., is releasing a new line of protein snack bars this summer.

Available in berry vanilla and brownie sundae flavors, the bars each contain 90 calories and 6 grams of protein per serving. 

The bars are available at grocery retailers nationwide for the suggested retail price of US$4.29 per box of five individually packaged bars. 

Shār Snacks expands sustainable trail mix lineup

Shār Snacks, is expanding its lineup of sustainably sourced trail mixes with two new offerings.

Shār Tropical combines mango, pineapple and macadamia nuts with pecans, cashews, almonds and coconut flakes.

Shār Savory includes chili-spiced plantain chips, golden berries and Baru nuts, sourced from the Brazilian savanna and rich in protein and other nutrients.

Additional ingredients are cashews, pecans, pistachios, Montmorency cherries, cranberries and a signature spice blend. The new products are available on the company’s website.

Cinnabon introduces chocolate-filled bite-sized cinnamon rolls

Starting June 27, Cinnabon, an American chain of baked goods stores and kiosks has introduced Chocolate BonBites to its product line up.

These are baked with Cinnabon’s classic dough, layered with a rich, chocolate schmear on the inside and topped with both chocolate frosting and Cinnabon’s signature cream cheese frosting.

They will be available at mall bakeries, Maverick and Pilot Flying J Travel Center locations and for ordering on the new Cinnabon mobile app or via food delivery platforms, for a limited time this summer.
