Krispy Kreme introduces Autumn’s Orchard Collection

Krispy Kreme, Inc. is giving customers a taste of the fall season with a new collection available now at participating locations across the US

The Autumn’s Orchard Collection is a blend of orchard and favorite fall flavors, including:

Apple fritter: Handmade with diced apples, apple filling and cinnamon. Maple pecan cheesecake donut: A donut with cheesecake-flavored filling, dipped in maple-flavored icing and topped with maple-flavored icing drizzles and pecan pieces.

The collection also features Spiced apple filled donut: A donut tossed in cinnamon sugar with apple cider flavored filling. Salted caramel brownie donut: An Original Glazed Doughnut topped with salted caramel brownie batter flavored frosting, salted caramel drizzle, brownie bits and fall leaf sprinkles.

And finally, Pumpkin spice cake donut: The brand’s popular glazed, old-fashioned pumpkin spice cake donut.

Kettle Brand expands with tailgate-inspired flavor

Crunchy chip company Kettle Brand is expanding its offerings with seasonal tailgate-inspired potato chips.

Available for a limited time, the tailgate edition potato chips combine the flavors of spicy Buffalo with bleu cheese.

The chips are available at retailers across the US for a suggested retail price of $6.29 for a 12.5-oz bag.

Kellogg, McKee partner on another new cereal

The Kellogg Co. is partnering with McKee Foods Corp. to introduce Kellogg’s Little Debbie Nutty Buddy cereal — its third collaboration with the Chattanooga, Tenn.-based snacks company.

The new cereal features chocolate and lightly roasted peanut butter flavors together with cereal pieces coated in fudge.

Kellogg’s Little Debbie Nutty Buddy cereal will be available at Walmart in October and at additional retailers nationwide in December for a suggested retail price of US$4.99 for an 8.2-oz box and US$5.99 for a 13.1-oz box.

White Castle Announces Castle Bites, New in the Freezer Aisle

White Castle Bites, inspired by the flavor of White Castle sliders, are now available in the grocery freezer aisle. The new bite-sized snacks are made with 100% real beef and onions and wrapped in a crispy golden crust.

Castle Bites are rolling out in stores nationally with two flavors, hamburger and cheeseburger. They are packaged in two sizes, 18 oz. standard stand-up bag and 40 oz. party pack.

The new snack was developed through a collaboration between White Castle and frozen food company Bellisio Foods.

Cinnabon expands grocery portfolio

Retail franchise Cinnabon is expanding its grocery distribution and releasing eight new ready-to-bake and ready-to-heat desserts at Walmart stores nationwide to celebrate National Cinnamon Roll Day.

The new products will roll out in two phases, with the first launch Oct. 1 and the second launch Nov. 1.

Included in the first phase are Cinnabon Bakery Inspired: Cinnamon Roll Cookie Dough, Salted Caramel Chocolate Cookie Dough, Frosted Mini Bites and Cinnamon Coffee Cake.

The second phase will include Cinnabon Bakery Inspired: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Sugar Cookie Dough, Chocolate Chip Brownie and Red Velvet Cake.

All eight new Cinnabon retail desserts will be available at the suggested retail price of US$4.98 per box.

Nothing Bundt Cakes brings back pumpkin spice flavor for another year

Nothing Bundt Cakes has announced the return of its popular featured flavor, Pumpkin Spice just in time for the fall season.

The Pumpkin Spice flavor is available in 10- and 8-inch Bundt Cakes, as well as mini Bundtlets and bite-sized Bundtinis, at all Nothing Bundt Cakes bakeries across the US now through December 4.

Guests can purchase the returning fall favorite starting at just US$4.75 for a personal sized Bundtlet. The10-inch cakes, which serve 18 people, start at only US$35.

KFC teams up with PepsiCo on limited-edition potato chips

KFC has partnered with PepsiCo Foods Canada to create a new flavour of potato chip for the Ruffles brand.

The new Ruffles KFC Original Recipe Chicken-flavoured potato chips are available for a limited time.

The collaboration has seen the companies add the flavour of KFC’s herb and spice mix to Ruffles’ ridged chips.

The limited-edition potato chips are available from major retailers across Canada.

Kipling expands range with trio of brownies

Premier Foods-owned Mr Kipling has expanded its portfolio with the launch of two new signature bite-size brownie treats and its first premium brownie.

Tapping into the increasing demand for snacks and nibbles, the brand’s Gooey Brownie Bites are available in double chocolate or salted caramel flavours. Made with a rich brownie base and topped with chocolate or salted caramel sauce, the bites are then finished with a coating of thick milk chocolate.

Also added to the Signature Collection line-up is Mr Kipling’s Seriously Chocolatey Brownies, rich chocolate brownies covered with chocolate creme and coated in milk and dark chocolate.

Finsbury announces launch of HFSS-compliant brand, Baked

Finsbury Food Group has announced the launch of its brand new HFSS-compliant brand Baked.

The Baked range will initially comprise five-pack cake slices in two distinct flavours: Lemon Drizzle and Sticky Toffee.

Available to buy online and in-store at Tesco supermarkets, a pack of five slices retails at £1.60. The Baked range aims to provide consumers with a high fibre, low-calorie option, whilst complying with upcoming fat, sugar and salt content regulations.
