SOUTH AFRICA—Premier Nut, South Africa’s long standing macadamia producer, has unveiled a series of innovative value-added macadamia products: Sutton Pressed, MacaPaste, and Snackadamia.

Meant to pay tribute to the company’s founder, Sutton Pressed is a cold pressed nut oil that has been described as having a sublime texture and a rich, nutty taste.

According to the company’s statement, the oil has a smoke point that exceeds that of olive oil, making it a versatile cooking oil for various culinary requirements.

Premier Nut has described MacaPaste as a creamy and luscious roasted macadamia nut paste that can be used in sweet and savory dishes as well as a simple deep or spread.

Snackadamia features a range of gourmet roasted macadamia kernels that will be available in Italian herb, spicy, and salted variations.

The statement described these kernels as premium grade, claiming that they are roasted carefully to fully present the rich, buttery flavor of macadamias.

Production of three new products has already started after the recent commissioning of a state-of-the-art facility on one of its farms in the Sabie Valley of Mpumalanga South Africa, where all manufacturing and packaging operations are now taking place.

This will allow the company to oversee the entire vertical supply chain from the farm to the consumer, ensuring quality and control at every stage of production.

Emma Parsons, the newly appointed Premier Nut Managing Director, expresses her ambition to position Premier Nut as the leading provider of top-tier macadamia delights on the global stage.

“This strategic move places the company at the literal roots of its creation, overseeing the entire vertical supply chain from farm to fork,” she noted.

The products have already made their shelf debuts in retail shops across Cape Town, Johannesburg, and KwaZulu-Natal.
