ISRAEL – Steakholder Foods Ltd. (Nasdaq: STKH), a company specializing in alternative proteins and 3D printing, has launched its first full-scale demonstration center.
The new facility is designed to give clients an in-depth look at the company’s production capabilities, featuring live demonstrations of their 3D printers—the MX200 and HD144—which produce plant-based meat and seafood alternatives.
The demonstration center operates as a fully functional food production facility, providing customers and partners with a firsthand experience of the entire manufacturing process.
Visitors can observe every stage of production, from material preparation to final packaging, with the opportunity to participate in tasting sessions.
These demonstrations are aimed at promoting client engagement while showcasing the versatility and quality of the company’s plant-based products.
Two of Steakholder Foods’ key 3D printing technologies are on display at the center, the first one being the MX200 Printer.
This machine uses Fused Paste Layering (FPL™) technology to mimic the texture of traditional meat by combining plant-based proteins and fats, offering customizable options for various meat substitutes.
The second one is the HD144 Printer.
Using Drop Location in Space (DLS™) technology, the HD144 places plant-based ingredients with precision to replicate the texture of seafood, creating products like tender fish and flaky fillets.
Founded in 2019, Steakholder Foods develops and sells 3D printing systems for the production of plant-based food alternatives.
The company also offers proprietary premix blends made from high-quality ingredients, tailored for use in these machines.
In addition to the new demo center, Steakholder Foods recently entered a strategic partnership with frozen food manufacturer and distributor Premazon.
This collaboration, announced in July, will introduce a range of plant-based fish products using Steakholder’s SH™ – Fish premix blend, which will be distributed through Premazon’s established network.
The partnership is expected to generate significant revenue for Steakholder Foods and improve its production efficiency.
