INDIA – Swiggy, one of the largest food and beverage delivery service has started operations in one of the largest cities in India, Nagpur, Maharashtra, expanding its footprint in India.

With Swiggy, customers are able to order food and beverage online from restaurants and get delivered right at their doorstep.

Known for its superior customer experience, ET Retail highlighted that it brings a choice of food options and variety including a range of eateries, cafes, ice cream parlours and Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs) across west Nagpur.

It delivers food from local joints, cafes, restaurants and from fast food chains such as Dominos, KFC, Burger King, Pizza Hut, FreshMenu, Mc Donald’s, Subway and others.

The areas include but not limited to Dharampet, Bajaj Nagar, Pratap Nagar with plans to roll the same in other areas in the city.

“After tremendous success in Mumbai and Pune, Nagpur is the third city in Maharashtra for Swiggy,” said Srivats TS, vice president – marketing at Swiggy.

“The city has a distinctive food culture, and we’re excited to bring our lightning-fast and hassle-free ordering and delivery service here, making these delicacies accessible to consumers wherever they are,” he added.

Swiggy will incorporate other restaurants in the region to add to over 250 restaurants already on its platform that will enable reach to customers across a wider radius.

Customers will order for deliveries from the restaurants from their Swiggy app along with multiple payment options.

Swiggy said it provides city restaurants with tools and technology to reach new customers while strengthening their delivery services, brand equity, and recall value.

In addition, Swiggy has launched a revamped owner app for restaurants to efficiently manage orders through real-time updates on their performance, consumer feedback and menu analysis.
