Danish brewer Carlsberg grows annual revenue grows 5.4% to US$9.75bn

DENMARK – Carlsberg Group reported 5.4% growth in revenue to DKK 65.902 billion (US$9.75 billion) for the full year ended 31 December, 2019. Carlsberg’s annual organic operating profit went up of 10.5% while net profit for the period increased 23.7% to DKK 6,569m (US$971m). The company’s adjusted earnings per share grew 16.5% to DKK 41. DENMARK – Carlsberg has signed an agreement to acquire the remaining 25% of Cambodian brewer, Cambrew one of the largest breweries in the country for an undisclosed sum. Carlsberg plans investment to reduce water usage at Danish brewery by 50%

DENMARK – Global brewer, Carlsberg has unveiled plans of investing in its brewery in Fredericia, Denmark to reduce water usage at the facility by 50% as well as cut energy consumption by 10%.
