Diageo ups sustainability efforts with launch of new low-carbon glass whisky bottle

UK – UK-based multinational alcoholic beverage manufacturer Diageo has collaborated with glass manufacturer Encirc to trial a glass whisky bottle that can reduce the carbon impact of its bottle production by up to 90%. Research and technology body Glass Futures was also involved in the development process that used waste-based biofuel-powered furnaces to produce the glass for  Diageo’s  Black & White Scotch whisky brand. Diageo to expand US RTD operations as Heineken launches Pure Piraña hard seltzer across Europe

US – UK-based alcoholic beverages giant Diageo is expanding its US ready-to-drink (RTD) operations as part of efforts to support its growth strategy in the rapidly expanding category. US – British alcoholic beverages manufacturer Diageo has completed its acquisition of British gin and vodka maker, Chase Distillery, following regulatory clearance amid competition concerns.
