CHINA – Danish multinational dairy cooperative Arla Foods is targeting Chinese children with its newly launched concepts – yogurt in pouches and cheese snacks – featuring its Nutrilac range of functional protein solutions. Richard Wyeth appointed CEO of Yili-owned Westland Dairy Company

NEW ZEALAND – Richard Wyeth, the immediate former chief executive of Taupō-based milk processor Miraka, is the new CEO of Yili-owned Westland Dairy Company. Wyeth comes to Westland dairy with over 13 years of experience in the dairy industry, including holding a role as global sales manager for dairy product manufacturer Open Country Dairy. Danone to build new organic infant milk production facility to meet growing demand

FRANCE – Danone has announced plans to invest €25 million (US$29.66m) in building a new organic infant milk production facility, which will be located in the Hauts-de-France region of the country, to meet growing demand from French consumers for organic products.
