Mahou San Miguel to produce range of AB InBev beers in Spain

SPAIN – Madrid based Mahou San Miguel has entered into an agreement with AB InBeV to produce and distribute some of its beers such as Corona, Budweiser and Stella Artois in Spain. The long term agreement, which according to a FoodBev report will take effect on January 2020, allows Mahou to respond to increasing consumer demands for premium beers. Spanish brewer Mahou Group acquires majority stake in Founders Brewing

USA – Spanish brewery Mahou-San Miguel Group has increased its stake in Michigan-based craft beer maker Founders Brewing to 90%. Mahou San Miguel invests US$3.75m to develop a sustainable chiller for the hospitality industry

SPAIN – Mahou San Miguel, a Spanish brewing company, has invested US$3.75 million in its hospitality industry to develop the company’s sustainable chiller. According to the FoodBev, the company said that the new Ecocooler chiller uses propane for refrigeration, which reduces the carbon emissions of the chiller to zero while increasing refrigeration yield by 8%.
