ASIA – Nestlé has launched its plant-based version of popular chocolate malt beverage, Milo in Asia in response to a rising tide of consumers preferring more dairy alternatives in their diet. Nestlé’s new plant-based food processing facility in Malaysia to support alternative proteins adoption in Asia

Tyson to buy 49% stake in Malayan Flour Mills Berhad’s poultry business even as Q1 profits plunge

MALAYSIA – American multinational food corporation Tyson Foods has agreed to acquire a 49% stake in the poultry segment of Malaysian food manufacturer, Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM). Finnish food packaging specialist Huhtamaki to relocate Malaysia paper cup manufacturing facility

MALAYSIA – Global food packaging specialist Huhtamaki has announced a €10 million (about US$ 12.15 million) investment in a new manufacturing site in Malaysia, in order to better serve its customers in Southeast Asia.
