AB InBev teams up with Tata subsidiary to open 15 microbreweries in India

INDIA – World’s leading brewer AB InBev is partnering with Tata owned Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) to open 15 microbreweries over the next five years, located within IHCL hotels. AB InBev’s ZX Ventures sells homebrew supply retailer Northern Brewer

USA – AB-InBev’s venture capital arm, ZX Venture, has sold homebrew supply retailer Northern Brewer to an affiliate of Blackstreet Capital Holdings for an undisclosed sum. Blackstreet Capital Holdings is a US-based holding company run by Murry Gunty, a self-described “investment professional” with 27 years of experience. ZX Ventures acquires UK beer subscription service BeerBods

UK – AB-InBev’s investment arm, ZX Ventures has secured a deal to acquire UK online beer club and subscription service, BeerBods. BeerBods said in a statement that it has entered into an exclusive partnership with online beer seller Beer Hawk, a UK-based company that was recently acquired by ZX Ventures.
