Tanmiah Food Company introduces Central Monitoring System

SAUDI ARABIA – Saudi Arabia’s Tanmiah Food Company, a leader in fresh and processed poultry, animal feed, and food brand franchising, has launched a Central Monitoring System (CMS) as part of its drive to integrate advanced technologies across its operations.

The CMS provides real-time operational data, enabling the company’s central team to monitor and optimize processes efficiently.

This technology forms part of Tanmiah’s broader strategy to implement Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data solutions.

The company also aims to incorporate Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain technology to enhance product traceability and sustainability in the future.

Amr Abdullah Al Dabbagh, Chairman of Tanmiah, highlighted the company’s achievements over six decades, emphasizing its strong market position in a rapidly growing sector.

“While technology generates vast amounts of data, its true value lies in turning that data into actionable insights for informed decision-making,” Al Dabbagh said.

He noted that Tanmiah’s efforts align with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to build a sustainable and innovative economy while enhancing food security.

Towards the end of last year, the company was in the news yet again.

In December, Tanmiah announced its plan to acquire a poultry processing facility in Saudi Arabia for US$38.1 million through its subsidiary, Agricultural Development Company (ADC).

The deal, signed with Dajin Poultry Company, will see the facility operational under Tanmiah’s management by 2025.

Tanmiah specializes in producing antibiotic-free, hormone-free, corn-fed chickens raised in cageless environments.

Its products, which include fresh, frozen, and marinated chicken, are distributed across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, catering to retail and foodservice sectors.

With its focus on innovation and expansion, Tanmiah aims to solidify its position as a market leader while contributing to the sustainability and food security goals of the Kingdom.
