US – Tilray Brands Inc., a global lifestyle and consumer packaged goods company, has announced the launch of Runner’s High Brewing Company, a new non-alcoholic brand under Tilray Beverages.
The new brand aims to cater to runners, whether they run for sport or hobby, offering a refreshing drink option post-exercise.
Runner’s High is designed to “elevate, motivate, and celebrate the unique lifestyle of the social running community,” according to the company’s press release.
Prinz Pinakatt, Chief Marketing Officer at Tilray Beverages, stated, “With the explosive growth of running for sport or for hobby, there is an opportunity for a non-alcoholic brew that runners reach for after a run, no matter the distance.
We want Runner’s High to be the ‘beer of choice’ for runners and their community of social and casual runners, not just elite athletes.”
The brand will debut on July 3 in Atlanta, Georgia, offering three flavors: Golden Wheat, Raspberry Wheat, and Dark Chocolate.
Golden Wheat is a bright golden ale with citrus, pine needle, and pink grapefruit aromas, and contains only 90 calories.
Raspberry Wheat is uniquely ruby red, with fully ripe raspberry and raspberry jam taste and aromas, and has 70 calories.
Dark Chocolate is a rich dark brown brew with notes of moist chocolate cake, containing only 60 calories.
This launch comes as Tilray Brands plans to raise up to US$250 million through an at-the-market (ATM) equity program to fuel expansion in the U.S. ahead of potential federal easing of restrictions on marijuana.
The net proceeds from the equity raise will be used to fund strategic and accretive acquisitions or investments in businesses, including potential acquisitions of assets in the U.S. and internationally, to capitalize on expected regulatory advancements or expansion opportunities.
