UGANDA – Hariss International Limited, one of Uganda’s leading food and beverage manufacturers has expanded its offering with introduction of first line of confectionery products.

Trading under its flagship brand, Riham, the new product line comprises of lollipops; fruit drops, refreshing breath mints, gums, and hard-boiled sweets.

They come in various flavours such as chocolate, strawberry, lemon, ginger, watermelon, passion, caramello, and so much more.

“This exciting addition stands at the heart of our mission to provide a range of value-added convenient food and beverages to our customers at competitive prices through product development and modernization.

“All the RIHAM sweets brands are certified by UNBS and have been pivoted from being adventure-themed to creating moments of excitement and sweetness,” stated the firm.

In pursuit to further grow the line, Riham seeks to unleash more sweet variants before the end of 2022.

The fast-growing company has been at the forefront of exciting consumers with launch of new products.

The company recently caught the attention of Ugandan consumers, with the debut of its new premium water brand dubbed ‘Krystal Natural Mineral Water’ through a hyped promotional campaign.

Sticking true to its name, Krystal is packaged in a 500ml sleek, elegant PET bottle with crystal-like edges, providing a firm grip as one sips the drink.

The water is ozonated and UV treated to make every sip pure and vibrant, an addition to its Riham natural mineral water launched in 2018, essential for a healthy life style.

The launch of the water brand came in quick succession, following its introduction of the sugar free variant of its Oner Apple Juice.

The new ‘Oner Apple No added Sugar’ is aimed to meet the changing and sophisticated consumers taste and preference, an addition to the already existing Oner Apple Juice.

Other than availing novel products in the market, Harris International also supports the communities its serves through different projects.

Earlier in the year, the company donated UGX 500 Million (US$138,500)  to the Ministry of Education and Sports.

This came as a call to action from the First lady and Minister of Education and sports; Mrs. Janet Museveni, requesting entities to support the government ahead of reopening and recovering of the sector.

“As Hariss International, this was a great opportunity for us since education transformation has always been at the core of our operations.

“We highly believe that the amount we contributed will facilitate the recovery of the education sector that was under lockdown for two years.

“We therefore, encourage other cooperations to also join the cause in supporting Uganda’s grappling education system,” the company stated.
