CANADA – Global chemical and ingredient distributor, Univar and India based Tata Chemicals have announced a new distribution agreement for fermented, digestive health ingredients in Canada.
Univar will be the exclusive distributor of Tata’s Fossence and Gossence prebiotic dietary fiber portfolio of ingredients for the Canadian market.
These fibers are used in a wide range of applications including dietary supplements; functional foods (bakery, dairy, snack foods); confectionaries; as well as pet food.
The partnership will be bolstered by utilizing the strengths of TATA NQ, the Nutritional Solutions division of TATA Chemicals Ltd that offers customers unique digestive health ingredients with the specific benefits needed to meet growing nutritional trends.

The partnership further combines Tata’s in-house bio-fermentation process and strong manufacturing excellence, along with Univar’s technical expertise and market reach.
