USA – Univar Solutions, LLC, a global provider of specialty ingredients and chemicals, has announced the expansion of its partnership with BASF to distribute the full range of Baxxodur amine-based curing agents across the United States and Canada.
This move will give North American customers greater access to BASF’s complete lineup of curing and accelerating agents, which play an important role in the development and improvement of epoxy, polyurea, and polyurethane systems.
The Baxxodur performance additives allow manufacturers to adjust formulations, enabling them to fine-tune the properties of polymer materials.
Brian Jurcak, Univar Solutions’ senior vice president of global product management and fulfillment, commented on the significance of this expanded partnership, noting BASF’s role in the chemical industry.
Both companies have a long history of collaboration, with a shared focus on meeting evolving customer needs in the coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE) markets.
As demand grows for high-performance and environmentally friendly ingredients that can withstand extreme conditions such as high temperatures and UV radiation, Univar Solutions believes that the addition of the Baxxodur line enhances its existing offerings for industrial applications.
