USA – As part of a new partnership with Beyond Meat, the Veggies Made Great brand has released a new line of frittatas to help people consume less animal meat and instead more plant-based alternatives.

The new additions will join Veggies Made Great’s range of frittatas – including spinach egg white; veggie “bacon” and potato; and mushroom and three cheese egg. The new range features Beyond beef crumbles and comes in two varieties: sausage and pepper frittata; and sausage, egg and cheese frittata.

“This is the very first Veggies Made Great partnership, a collaboration that brings together the future of plant-based protein: plant-based meat and packaged, vegetarian products,” said Elliot Huss, CEO of Veggies Made Great.

“The products we developed with Beyond Meat make it easy for consumers to find new and tasty ways to eat more vegetables, consume more plant-based proteins, and thereby address some of the global health and climate problems.”

“The products we developed with Beyond Meat make it easy for consumers to find new and tasty ways to eat more vegetables, consume more plant-based proteins, and thereby address some of the global health and climate problems.”

The individually wrapped frittatas are vegetarian and gluten free, with 90 calories or less and at least 5g of protein.

“Partnering with Veggies Made Great is another impactful way we can increase offerings for those looking to introduce plant-based protein into their diets. We’re delighted to work with a partner who shares our mission of creating delicious food that’s better for people and the planet,” Tim Smith, Beyond Meat’s VP of North America sales, foodservice, said.

Veggies Made Great brand product line is allergy friendly (gluten free, soy free, peanut and tree nut free, with many dairy free options) and always made with veggies as the first and primary ingredient.

“The company is on a mission to create the highest quality, remarkably delicious and nutritionally smart, plant-based, veggie-rich foods that are ready to eat and available everywhere,” the company said in a news release.

Veggies Made Great products have vegetables as the first and primary ingredient; whether the vegetables are used to moisten and sweeten, like the zucchini and carrots in the muffins, or the highlight of the product, like spinach, tomatoes, onions and red bell peppers, in the Spinach Egg White Frittata.

The products are manufactured in a peanut-free, tree nut-free, soy-free facility and every product in the Veggies Made Great product line is both allergy friendly and are made using clean and simple ingredients.
