USA – Wild Planet, known for its commitment to sustainable seafood, has introduced a new product: the Limited Edition Wild Tuna Snack Pack.

This offering, launched in partnership with Simple Mills and Chosen Foods, aims to combine convenience with environmental responsibility.

The snack pack features Wild Planet’s latest creation, sustainably sourced Skipjack Wild Tuna, which is flavored with dill pickle, lemon juice, and sea salt.

The pack also includes Simple Mills Fine Ground Sea Salt Almond Flour Crackers and Chosen Foods Classic Mayo, made with 100% pure avocado oil.

The collaboration brings together these three brands, which have been frequently paired by consumers on social media, now offering them as a convenient, ready-to-eat option.

Clint Mickel, Wild Planet’s Vice President of Marketing, commented on the partnership, highlighting that the collaboration was inspired by consumer demand.

Mickel noted that the three brands share a commitment to quality ingredients and sustainability, making the snack pack an ideal product for health-conscious consumers who are also concerned about the environment.

The new snack pack, which has been available exclusively on Wild Planet’s website since August 1, is presented in a reusable bento box, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to sustainability.

This packaging choice aligns with Wild Planet’s broader environmental goals, which include minimizing waste and promoting the use of sustainable materials.

Wild Planet, founded in 2004 by Bill Carvalho, has been a leader in the sustainable seafood industry, partnering with small-scale fishermen who use eco-friendly fishing practices.

The company’s approach has earned it recognition from environmental groups like Greenpeace and positioned it as a model for sustainable seafood sourcing.

Simple Mills and Chosen Foods, both known for their focus on natural, clean ingredients, are ideal partners for this initiative.

Simple Mills offers nutrient-dense snacks, while Chosen Foods is renowned for its avocado oil products, which are praised for their versatility and health benefits.

The Limited Edition Wild Tuna Snack Pack is available for US$5 while supplies last.

Consumers can also purchase the new Skipjack Wild Tuna separately at Whole Foods and on Amazon.
