NIGERIA – Seven-Up Bottling Company Plc has appointed Ziad Maalouf as its new Managing Director of the 57-year old company to replace current MD, reports Beverage News Nigeria.
Before this appointment, Maalouf was the company’s Chief Operating Officer having joined the soft drinks company in 2008 as the National Sales and Distribution Manager.
He has over 20 years work experience in corporate finance, organizational leadership and strategic management, among others, according to the company in a press release.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut.
In another change to the top management, current Managing Director Sunil Sawhney has been elevated to the position of Vice Chairman of the company.
He has served as the Managing Director of the firm from 2009 up until his current appointment.
Sunil holds a Bachelor’s Degree and an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration and his work experience cuts across Manufacturing, Sales and Administration.
Both appointments take effect on 1st April, 2017.
